FFS Appoints Mr. Ahmed Samir as Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Ahmed demonstrated managerial skills and business focus to meet company objectives

With over 20 years’ experience in the information technology industry, Mr. Ahmed Samir holds a B.Sc. Degree in Telecommunication & Electronics engineering certified Organizational Program Management Maturity Model professional and consultant (PMI-OPM3), Certified PMP, Certified Systems Engineer and Certified Program Management Office Professional (PMOC), Frequent Speaker in regional PMI conferences.
Prior to joining FFS, he was acting Chief Projects Officer (CPO) and Director of Enterprise Project Management Office at AFiT Company and Senior Vice President and board member of PMI-AGC and mentored many individuals in different organizations cross industries to develop skills and road maps for business objectives achievement.

As a Chief Operation Officer at FFS Company, Mr. Ahmed Samir will work directly with FFS Chairman and CEO to plan and execute the company yearly business plan. Mr. Ahmed will provide:
Advice on the operation of all department (sales and marketing, technical support, software development),
Set goals for each department, analyze performance, and maximize efficiency,
Act as liaison and facilitate communication between departments,
Develop sales representation in new territories and expand on established territories, and
Enhance relationship with the company international business partners and clients.

With over 20 years of experience in various diversified management positions, Ahmed Samir has gained high qualifications and expertise in establishing and rolling out successful strategies for implementing, managing and delivery of large scale initiatives, programs and projects by implementing the best practices of project and general management according to the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards with lots of emphasis on results and customer satisfaction.
Ahmed Samir graduated from Faculty of Engineering with BSC in Communications and Electronics, Egypt 1995, worked in many IT organizations like TOP-TECH delivering turnkey solutions to the Egyptian and Kuwaiti markets as Technical Manager, CCH as Project manager, VeriSign Kuwait (ArabTrust) as Project manager, then joined AFiT in 2004 as a Project manager, Promoted to Senior PM then EPMO Director and left AFiT in 2015 as Acting Chief Projects Officer (CPO).

Ahmed Samir contributed in restructuring of PMI Arabian Gulf Chapter and establishing KPI’s for regional performance (one of the top largest 5 Chapters in PMI out 314 chapters), and is a frequent speaker about strategic stakeholders management, Agile project management and latest standards updates in PMI-AGC 13th, 14th and 15th conferences (Second largest conference in PMI after the North America Global Congress) and chapter technical presentations, breakfast meetings and regional project management conferences speaker.
Ahmed Samir was PMI-AGC Board member and Senior Vice president for membership, PMI-AGC Kuwait Director for Certification, Education and membership, Chairman of the training committee of the 12th PMI-AGC conference (Bahrain).
